UNI OD DEGLAZER when mixed with hot water will soften the dried calcium crystals in the rollers and the
blankets. The hot water will gently open up the nap of the rubber allowing UNI OD DEGLAZER to deeply
penetrate and remove the calcium contamination as well as ink glaze.

UNI OD DEGLAZER is formulated using the highest quality surfactants giving you the best results of any
deglazer on the market today.

Manual

FOR ROLLERS :

  1. Make sure all ink has been removed from the rollers.
  2. Mix 16 ounces of UNI O.D. DEGLAZER with 8 ounces of hot water in a wash-up bottle.
  3. Shake vigorously until it becomes a homogenized solution.
  4. With press in idle mode, add UNI O.D. DEGLAZER / water mixture to the rollers small amounts at a time until rollers have absorbed maximum amount, this will do a 6 unit 40″ press.
  5. Let this run in for at least 15 minutes, the longer the better. This mixture can safely be left on the rollers overnight or over the weekend.
  6. Wash-up rollers in your normal way.
  7. Ink up rollers and wash-up again to ensure all the UNI O.D. DEGLAZER has been removed from the rollers.
  8. Ink up and run next job.

FOR BLANKETS :

  • Apply UNI OD DEGLAZER full strength to a damp rag and thoroughly wipe blanket. Rinse liberally with water and follow with your Unigraph water miscible blanket wash.
  1. Make sure all ink has been removed from the rollers.
  2. Add UNI O.D. DEGLAZER full strength to the ink train and allow to run in for at least 5 minutes.
  3. Wash-up rollers in your normal way.
  4. Ink up rollers and wash-up again to ensure that all the UNI O.D. DEGLAZER has been removed from the rollers.
  5. Ink up and run next job.
